Leslie Nord, Ph.D.

I am teaching Translation, Spanish/English, English/Spanish, in the Department of Romance, German and Russian Languages and Literatures at California State University at Long Beach. The program includes an Introduction to Translation, Business/Legal, Medical and Literary Translation. In the Spring of 1998 I will also teach Business Spanish. I have also taught college level Spanish literature. I am particularly interested in the intersection of literature and graphic arts at the beginning of the twentieth century in Spain, culminating in the posters of the Spanish Civil War.
